Source - Judges 19

As a Muslim, I enjoy read the Qur'aan. Having studied arabic and reading the numerous exegesis (tafsir), it has been a pleasure. On the advice of many Christians, I was told to read the Bible and "enjoy" the "love" it offered. To my amazement, I came across what can only be described as a horrible sex movie gone wrong. This is supposed to be the word as inspired by God. Please exercise caution, the following Bible verses contain gang homosexual rape, rape of women, abuse against women, degradation of women and violent murder scenes. Please be advised that this is the Christian Old Testament (Septuagint - English NIV).

Now a Levite who lived in a remote area in the hill country of Ephraim took a concubine from Bethlehem in Judah.
Nothing wrong here, quite a normal story...

But she was unfaithful to him. She left him and went back to her parents’ home in Bethlehem, Judah.
This verse is a problem, as this is classified as being dishonest or misrepresenting the woman, scholar of the Bible, Adam Clarke in his exegesis (available here) says:

Neither the Vulgate, Septuagint, Targum, nor Josephus, understand this word as implying any act of conjugal infidelity on the woman's part. They merely state that the parties disagreed, and the woman returned to her father's house. Indeed all the circumstances of the case vindicate this view of the subject. If she had been a whore, or adulteress, it is not very likely that her husband would have gone after her to speak friendly, literally, to speak to her heart, and entreat her to return.

He turns into Romeo, go wins her back and travels back with her to their home, they stop off to rest:

“You are welcome at my house,” the old man said. “Let me supply whatever you need. Only don’t spend the night in the square.”
They need a place to rest and this kind man offered them his home, however this is where the porn movie begins:

While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, “Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him.”
At this point, I'm seriously wondering of what benefit this verse can be to any Jew or Christian. Supposedly God wants us to know that their is a reward for being homosexual rapists, because for some unknown reason the owner of the house responds:

The owner of the house went outside and said to them, “No, my friends, don’t be so vile. Since this man is my guest, don’t do this outrageous thing. 24 Look, here is my virgin daughter, and his concubine. I will bring them out to you now, and you can use them and do to them whatever you wish. But as for this man, don’t do such an outrageous thing.”

Apparently, you can get rewarded with two women to rape, for being a homosexual in the Bible. What's puzzling is that the man defends the man and offers his own daughter, a virgin. Is God telling us to offer our daughters to rapists so that men can rest? In Islam, men are the protectors of women! However, what's worse is that even Adam Clarke doesn't know why he offered his own virgin daughter:

but how a father could make such a proposal relative to his virgin daughter, must remain among those things which are incomprehensible.

  1. Zeenath Said,

Commandments of God are curse according to the originator of modern Christianity. So how can they follow Laws? It's faith that leads PYEM. They faithfully follow the commandments of Satan and freely abuse the Muslims. After all the Laws "Jesus nailed to the cross", are the Commandments of God, not of Satan! ( Though Jesus was a party in providing the Law, according to the theory of Trinity, he supposedly revealed that it is a curse later. Wonder why YHWH, Jesus, Holy Spirit combine cursed the Humans with the Law and did not "Love the world" before it.)
